How big are your candles?
Our candles are 10 oz with an estimated burn time of 60 hours.
What kind of wax are the candles made with?
We use a premium blend of coconut and soy wax. We never use paraffin wax.
How did you come up with all these Aromathesia Candle names?
The word “Aromasthesia” combines my love of aromatherapy and anesthesia. The drug names are frequently used and the tag lines and indications for use and potential side effects all mirror the actual indication for the drugs (yes I am a huge dork!) This started as a passion project to channel some of my creativity and humor and I’m so honored to be able to share my love for candles with other candle lovers!
Do you give back?
Yes we love giving back to charity! We are so proud to say that we donate a portion of the proceeds from all products to charity. Some of the charities we have donated to include: The Family Place, Women in Anesthesia, the Dallas SPCA, Arkansas Children’s Hospital, The Parkland Foundation, The American Cancer Society, Genesis Women’s Shelter, Face Forward LA, and the American Heart Association.
Candle Care FAQs
What are some common do’s and don'ts when it comes to candle care?
1. Always trim your wick to ¼” before each burn
2. Try to burn your candles for at least 2 hours each time so that the melted wax reaches the edge of the glass (to avoid tunneling)
3. Do not burn unattended (I did this once and almost lit my bathroom on fire!)
4. Keep away from pets and children
5. Stop use when ¼” of wax remains
How do I properly store my candles?
Candles should be stored in a cool dry place away from sunlight. Keep away from pets and children.
Do you offer gift cards?
We offer digital gift cards for free or a hand-written gift card that is mailed to the recipient with a hand-written personalized note for $10 which is signed by Dr. Moon.
Is it possible to add a personalized message to gifts?
Yes, please include the exact gift message you’d like us to include when purchasing the gift order packaging.
Is it possible to keep the costs hidden from my recipient?
Yes, if you mark the order as a gift, the invoice will not include the prices of any items.
How do I place an order?
Once you have added all of your items into the shopping cart, please follow these simple steps to complete your order:
1. Click on the shopping cart icon
2. If your items is a gift, click ADD when the gift wrap option pops up
3. Review all items in your cart
4. Complete contact, shipping, and billing information
5. Confirm and place your order using your payment method of choice. If you have a promo code, enter it BEFORE clicking “pay now” as we cannot retroactively apply promo codes to orders.
6. Print or save your order confirmation number to keep track of your order

How do I cancel my order?
Orders can be canceled within 6 hours by emailing email@example.com. After that, we start to prepare your order for shipping, so it can no longer be canceled.
How can I update my order?
We usually ship orders the same day they are placed. If you have a small change, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will try our best to accommodate your request.
Can I place a bulk order?
Yes, please email email@example.com if you have an order of 30 or more candles.
What is the best way to check the status of my order?
You should get an email link where you can check the status of your order. If you have a specific inquiry, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
What can I do if my mailing address is incorrect?
If you notice that your mailing address is incorrect, please email email@example.com as soon as possible. We cannot be responsible for any mailing addresses that are incorrectly typed.
How do I redeem a discount code?
After you click “checkout now” you will see a summary of your order and an option that says “Add a discount code or gift card” where you can input your code.

Do you ship outside the United States?
We do, but international shipping is very expensive due to the size and weight of our candles. We just recently made it possible to ship our products to:

Please note that there can be lengthy delays with customs, so delivery time varies by location. However, we do expedite all our Alaska, Canada, Hawaii and Puerto Rico orders, which accounts for the added shipping and handling charges that are required. Which type of payment options are available?
We accept a variety of payment options which include Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
How much does it cost to ship my order?
Shipping is a flat fee of $12. Contiguous U.S. Orders over $99 ship for free.
How long does it take to ship my order?
We try to ship orders on the same day they are received. From the time that you place your order, you should receive it in about 3-5 business days. We also have a 2 day shipping option that you can select at check out. When temperatures are above 90 degrees, we only ship on Mondays and Tuesdays to avoid having our candles sit on a hot truck for a prolonged period. If you are in a rush to receive your candles, please email us at email@example.com and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Is it possible to ship orders to several locations?
Unfortunately, one order must be shipped to the same location. If you need to ship to multiple locations, you will need to place multiple orders.
What is your return policy?
We do our best to describe all our products on our website and hand package each order carefully. If you have any problems with your order, please take photos and email firstname.lastname@example.org with a detailed description of your issue. Any broken items will be replaced and a claim filed with UPS. Please keep the broken candles and packaging until the claim has been processed.
Our return policy is 14 days from the day that the item was received. All items returned must be received in the same condition that you received it in. Any used products will not be refunded. The original shipping fee cannot be refunded and you will be responsible for the cost to ship the item(s) back to us. A tracking number is recommended as returns cannot be processed if packages are lost in transit. Returns will be processed within 10 days from the day that the return is received and verified to be in proper condition. We cannot offer exceptions outside of this policy. Any returns that do not meet the conditions stated above will be rejected.
